A DeKalb County Superior Court judge on Wednesday temporarily barred the Georgia Bureau of Investigation from releasing crime scene photos of slain hiker Meredith Emerson to Hustler magazine.

GET URBANIZED: The Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation is setting up what appears to be an intriguing look at reshaping the community. Titled "Fresh Approaches to Urban Redevelopment for Athens," the daylong March 27 event will include sessions on "vital urban spaces" and "the creative city" from University of Georgia College of Environment and Design professors, as well as looks at transportation and participatory planning from other academics and professionals. Short documentaries on development programs around the world will be screened.
